The other day my cheap hand me down washing machine died. Of course the first place I look to for a replacement is the internet.
I was very disappointed. Clearly the clothing cleansing corporations are yet to embrace, or perhaps discover, the web. There is no shortage of sites selling machines in the US. I’m in Australia. The information I was looking for was going to have to be wrenched from the tight grasp of local friendly white-goods salespeople.
I played their games. Made them know I was “serious about buying a washing machine”. No I wasn’t in the show room for the fun of it. I worked for my deal. I spent more just to avoid having to doing it again for a very long time. At least until the fridge dies I guess.
Thanks to everyone who shared their washing wisdom, it made my decision much easier.
