Tonight I shifted my entry titles into their rightful
H2 position. Until now this esteemed slot was occupied by the
entry date, as it does in the default templates from MovableType.
I understand why the MT templates were built this way, as an extension of the essential date driven structure of a blog, putting the date first has some logic. If I made more than one entry within a day there was no need for the date to appear again for that entry.
Trouble is, revealing this structure lends the date more importance than I
feel is warranted for ollicle.com. So I trashed
<MTDateHeader> and included the date after each entry
title, in a paragraph with a class of date.
As a bonus this has brought the time back together with the date.
